Hey guys! I know its been a while since I have put something up, so I figured I would treat you all to a bit of a speech. I know, I know, speeches are boring, but stick with me. This is a speech that I found online by an Anonymous, for all the nerds out there who have been rejected for a jerk, or the jock that never got a fair chance… the stereotyped.

Hello ladies, here I am. Most of you who've had a mom or dad read to you about me have fantasized about having me for yourself. Some of you still dream about me, at least this way. I am the Prince Charming you've dreamed of, your perfect gentleman. Now I’m dressed as you've always imagined me, in a nice suit, with devilish good looks and surprising strength for my slender frame. Unfortunately, Princess, I’m not the man you always wanted me to be. You pass me in the halls everyday, never even knowing that I’m there. That’s because even though I am the man you dreamed of, I don’t fit the job description. I’m the nerd that you and your friends made fun of last week because of his glasses and pimply face. True, I have put more attribute points into Intelligence than in Charisma or Strength. How else do you expect me to be a Level 40 Chief Mage that leads the Guild of Mages? I probably lost you there, didn't I? Anyway, think back. Have there been any times that I have been rude or cruel to you? I know that sometimes that my distance could be taken for being rude, or condescending. The truth is, my social backwardness has kept me from intermingling among my fellow peers. I can rescue any princess, beat every boss, but when it comes to you and this wall, I don’t have any cheat codes or extra lives. So I bide my time, waiting until the right princess comes along. Or maybe you don’t see me like this, the nerd. Maybe you've stereotyped me somewhere else, as someone to go after, but for my looks, treating me as a dumb gorilla who needs to be lead around and told what to do. I’m that football player who tried to flirt with you yesterday. Unlike the dweeb and his friends, I’m popular, strong… and a little smart, but who cares about that anymore? I can overcome any obstacle, powering my way through. That is until I get to you. You scorn me and play me off as the jock type, someone who chases anything with a skirt. If only you took the time to know me, you’d see that I’m not like that at all! But you, Princess, have locked yourself in walls so tight that you won’t let anyone through who could possibly help. You've shut out your parents, your friends, everyone, and putting on a mask that no one can see past. You see Princess, I come in many shapes and forms, and just because I’m not athletic, or graceful, doesn't mean you should keep me out. Take off the mask, and let me make you the happiest girl in the world.
Well, after that deep philosophical thought, have a great rest of the week, check out my other posts, and don’t forget to check back every few weeks. I’ll see you guys later.
